Rogen began his acting career at age 13 as a stand up comedian in Vancouver, Canada. After he moved to Los Angeles, he began the television comedies "Freaks and Geeks" and "Undeclared." Later on, at age 18, Rogen was hired as a staff writer for "Undeclared." Rogen has starred in "The Forty-Year-Old Virgin," "Knocked Up," "Superbad," "Pineapple Express," "Zach and Miri Make a Porno," and most recently, "Funny People." Other films Rogen has made an appearance in include "Horton Hears a Who," "The Spiderwick Chronicles," Drillbit Taylor," "You, Me, and Dupree," and "Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy." Rogen even began performing in films by doing voiceovers, such as in "Kung Fu Panda" and more recently, "Monsters vs. Aliens." In many of these films, Rogen has not only been taking an acting role, but he has also been doing a lot of writing and producing. He is overall a very hardworking, talented actor who has become increasingly popular with our generation.
Among the first questions asked in the interview with Rogen were those about his past Halloweens, if he enjoys the holiday, and what his plans were in regards to a costume. Rogen replied that he has not had the best experiences with Halloween because he had many allergies when he was a child and was not able to consume a lot of sugar, which kind of ruined Halloween for him. He admitted, though, that he and his girlfriend were planning to do matching theme costumes this year, which he does not recommend since "he always gets the bad end of it." Unfortunately, Rogen will not being doing anything too crazy this Halloween because he has work the following morning at 6 a.m.
