Being a USF football fan isn't for the fair-weathered or the indecisive. At least, not if that fan is a student hoping to get into Raymond James Stadium for free come game day. With the launch of the University's online ticketing system this fall, students will have to apply early to receive tickets to each home football game and prepare to be punished if they opt out of using them.

Football isn't the only sport Akeem Dent is good at.

While the redshirt sophomore linebacker is excellent at pursuing the ball, he's also pretty good at another sport he participated in over the summer.

That would be bowling.

Dent said he spent much of his free time bonding with his teammates, as they would go to the bowling alley and compete against each other.

The grieving process continues for anyone associated with Atlanta Braves baseball, as fans, players and media continue to honor the memory of Skip Caray. Caray passed away while sleeping in his Atlanta-area home August 3rd after battling multiple aliments over the past year that he linked to diabetes.

In his wildest dreams, Dannell Ellerbe didn't think he would ever wind up on the cover of Sports Illustrated.

After all, he's a humble linebacker from the 6,000-person town of Hamlet, N.C. who would rather lead by example than talk a lot. So when Sports Illustrated chose Ellerbe as one of Georgia's three front men, along with Matthew Stafford and Knowshon Moreno, it came as a complete shock.
